5 reasons why I LOVE Myspace!

In fact I remember when I didn’t have one and I was the only person at the dinner table who couldn’t join in on the conversations surrounding this exciting phenomenon. Needless to say, the very next day as soon as I got to work the first thing I did was sign up. Ever since then I have become addicted to the networking and amazing applications that come with using this internet mastery. I decided to list my top 5 reasons for loving myspace:
REASON 1:
Networking
By becoming “friends” with one person allows you entry into their world as well as everyone they are friendly with in their myspace account. This could mean up to hundreds if not thousands of people. And that’s just through 1 person. Networking is great especially if you are looking for a new job or new social relationships. Myspace allows you to interact with people in a fun and carefree way where you are not inhibited from showing yourself or any self that comes to mind at that time!
REASON 2:
Fantastic pages
It never ceases to amaze me how absolutely fascinating people’s pages can be. The amount of exciting pictures and quotes that I have seen inspire me to go out and find whatever different material I can lay my hands on. There is nothing better than clicking onto someone’s page and being transported into their world. It’s the best past time I have found to date. I can sit for hours perusing people’s pages.
REASON 3:
Old Mates
When my younger sister attended her 10 year school reunion, feelings of nostalgia panged my chest until I grabbed my year book and just had to page through to see my old school mates. I was suddenly consumed with the notion that I needed to know where they were. What had happened to them? It was only when I was a myspace member that I could look au my old school mates and see where they were and what they were up to. This really was exciting as I came across people I had almost forgotten about. We have since had a reunion and let me say it was blast!!!!!!!!!
REASON 4:
Quick communication
Another fantastic thing about myspace is that you can communicate with people and it doesn’t even take long. Using shortened words like “How ya doin?” really takes a matter of seconds and asks the question. I mean an e-m ail would take at least 5 mins by the time you log in, write it, put the contact in and send it. This is easy, quick and gets your message across. What’s more is that it’s fun to see what people have posted on your page! I often look forward to checking my page to see what little messages people have left for me.
REASON 5:
Online dating:
Now I know you need to be careful about dating online as the horror stories are endless about people who take advantage of others. However, that said, I must admit I have dabbled into the world of online dating and I have has 2 long term relationships as a result. And where did I meet these fantastic people: Yes you guessed right: myspace!!! We wrote to each other and after a while gave out our numbers. I think you really need to check the person out first before diving into something that could be dangerous. I say speak on the phone quite a few times before committing to a face to face meeting.
In conclusion:
Myspace Rocks!!! It is the best site I have found so far! It has helped me build everlasting friendships and relationships that I treasure!
