MySpace for all Ages

The MySpace Revolution has been growing and developing since the early 2000’s. Many times this site has received negative press, even when it’s been a support network for many others. This should be expected once an online location grows to the point that MySpace has. Consider that the site is growing daily, and internationally. People connect and reconnect on this site. This has been a place that anyone can log on to, and reflect on others information and growth.

Of the benefits of this site, there have been hundreds of people who have researched and grown on topics ranging from support and advice with in social circles, to how to rebuild a car engine. It has been as much a resource as it has been a solid basis for several companies and political representatives to gain a glimpse into what the general public wants, needs and desires. However, MySpace was not founded for big companies or political entities. MySpace was founded for the general population, as a recreational social networking tool.

Most people use this to keep family and friends appraised of their life and developments and more. This has enabled some from needing to utilize the mass email distribution, or individual email updates. By saving time and keeping people up to date on progress, MySpace has only grown in popularity. The people who are enjoying the site all express a solidarity in the time saving ability enabled by MySpace and the features, as well as the opportunity to share family photos, movies, and more through the site. This has allowed people to stay connected with family across the country, or across the world. One family in particular has relatives, parents and grandparents, in Korea and they have been able to share in the youngest family member’s firsts, virtually. This example showcases how vast the difference in age can be. The youngest member of the family featured on this MySpace site is less than 2 years old, while the oldest that participates is in her early 80’s. Truly MySpace has become a social platform for the masses of all ages.

As MySpace continues to develop and grow, it has come to accommodate people and organizations on an international platform. Most impressively this site has become a portal for many families to stay in contact, and provide and share up dated information, keeping everyone important within the loop of their lives.
