MySpace Groups

MySpace has a popularity level beyond the expectations of the original founder. The site or network of sites has come to create a global connection for anyone who wants to participate. The network however, does not cater to individuals only. This network also connects groups of many types and commonalities. This forum covers groups from around the world, and back home for almost every political, religious, social support networks.

The MySpace groups reflect a vast array of networking opportunities. Some of the groups include those seeking to educate others about Domestic Violence, about Barrak Obama and his candidacy for president of the United States, to an education in Islamic laws and it’s application in the secular world. This varying expansive community opens the door for anyone and everyone. If support is needed it is easy to find here. If some one is searching for guidance or advice, there is likely a MySpace group for their specific concern. The sponsors of the groups are members of MySpace with individual profiles. Each profile reflects their affiliation with the various groups they are associated with. This helps to promote the groups, as well as makes it easy to find the most applicable support system easily available.

Of the MySpace users who participate in one or more groups in this online community, many of them are satisfied with the results they get from the experience. One person has gone on record as saying that ‘with out the MySpace group, …(name with held)…I and my family would be in a lost situation.’ This person was able to obtain help when they moved into a new area with a baby on the way. The support made the move feasible, and jobs readily available, as well as provided for their coming child. The friends made with in the group are evidently sound and considerate. Another MySpace user indicated confidence in their personal business success from advice received in a business-networking group within the community. These examples demonstrate the more positive aspects, not often discussed in the media, about MySpace as a meeting place for people across the country and the world.

As MySpace has grown over time, the groups have grown along with it. The anonymity created by the internet has allowed many people to find and open up to others, when it is difficult to do so face to face. With such an interconnected community as has been created on Myspace, there are many establishing relationships and connections to solve, resolve and expand their personal and professional horizons.
